Guide Review - Memorex Mini TravelDrive U3
The Memorex Mini TravelDrive ™ U3 is very compact and has a very sturdy design. Like other portable storage drives you can travel anywhere with it and know that your data is safe.
The difference that the Mini TravelDrive ™ U3 offers is the inclusion of U3 programs. The flash drive comes preloaded with a Welcome to U3 program that explains how the software works and how to download additional programs. Migo for U3, Thunderbird for U3 and Anti-Virus for U3 have also been loaded on the Mini TravelDrive ™.
Each of these programs will provide you with the means to work from any computer with email and your favourite files. With the Migo for U3 program you can select specific files or even folders to keep on your flash drive and be ability to keep those files synchronized between your computer or computers as the case may be.
It is now easier to work on files while on the road and keep files on your home office system in sync so that you have access to the same data and it is always up to date.
The only aspect of the Memorex Mini TravelDrive ™ U3 that I had any concerns over is the protective end cap. If you aren't using the lanyard you can slip the cap over the back of the drive so you won't lose the cap. The protective cap won't fit over the back with the lanyard in place. If the cap had an opening for the lanyard that would be great.
Overall it's a great little drive and the addition of the U3 programs makes it a great mobile accessory for any mobile professional to have.
